Who I Work With

My clients are growth-oriented people who take their inner lives seriously. They've often tried conventional approaches and are ready for something that honors the full depth of who they are. Many are navigating trauma, life transitions, or a longing for meaning. They are open to integrative work — drawing from psychology, mindfulness, shamanic and Buddhist traditions, and plant medicine — because they understand that real change requires courage, humility, and a willingness to be transformed.

The Intake Process

My intake process is designed to be thorough, unhurried, and genuinely relational. It begins with a complimentary 20-minute phone or video consultation — a chance for us to meet, for you to ask questions, and for me to get an initial sense of what you are carrying and what you are seeking.

If we decide to move forward, our first one to two sessions serve as an extended intake. Rather than rushing toward intervention, I take time to understand your full history — your childhood, your relationships, your trauma history, your spiritual life, and the patterns that have shaped you. I am interested in the whole person, not just the presenting problem.

I also take time during intake to explain how I work — my integrative approach, the role of mindfulness and somatic awareness, and how I think about healing. Therapy works best when it is a genuine collaboration, and I want you to feel fully informed and at ease before we go deep together.

By the end of our intake process, we will have a shared understanding of your goals, a sense of the terrain we will be working in, and a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, honesty, and mutual respect.
